Hunter Wenxiong Qiu

Hunter Qiu is a corporate lawyer with rich transactional and regulatory compliance practice experience in biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. Hunter advises healthcare funds, biotech and device companies on PE/VC, M&A, joint venture and licensing transactions, and advises major biopharma and device companies on IND, NDA, GXP and other NMPA regulatory compliance matters.
Prior to joining the firm as a partner in 2016, Hunter practiced corporate law with Cooley, Jones Day, Baker McKenzie and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman in their Shanghai, Beijing, Dallas and Washington D.C. offices for many years. Mr. Qiu also worked for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington D.C. under a five months’ externship program in 2012.
